Round splitter: who owes what?
Somebody always ends up buying one round too many. Add the rounds below and settle up fairly in seconds.
How it works
It adds up everything that was spent, splits it evenly between everyone who was out, then works out the fewest payments to settle up. If someone skipped a round on purpose (driving, slow drinker, left early), just leave them out of the list.
Round etiquette, briefly
- Big group? Split into smaller rounds or a kitty. Six rounds of six is a lot of rounds.
- It's fine to sit out a round. A soft drink round counts too.
- Settle up the same night or the next morning, while everyone remembers.
ontap can't split the bill, but it does remember who was out and where, which helps when the debate starts.
ontap is the free iPhone app for logging beers in one tap and seeing which friends are out.

What if someone only had soft drinks?
Leave them out of the list and settle their share separately, or add their own round so it balances.
Does it work with any currency?
Yes. It's just numbers; use whatever currency you paid in.
